NEW 7" RECORD FROM SAW WHEEL COMING SOON!Anti-Creative is very excited to be releasing a new 7-inch from Saw Wheel. I'm sure many of you are familiar with Saw Wheel, who you might have heard on a split album with Ghost Mice years back, or numerous full lengths and other projects since then. With the help of our good friends
Cover Coercion Records, Anti-Creative will be putting Saw Wheel on wax
for the very first time, and for the very first time Saw Wheel will be blasting electric! We'll have this out as soon as possible, and definitely in time for THE FEST 8 (see below). Saw Wheel is all set and ready to record, we'll keep you up to date.
THE FEST 8 IN GAINESVILLE, FLORIDAThe Fest is an annual music festival in Gainesville, Florida, organized by No Idea Records. In the past, many bands related to Anti-Creative Records have performed at The Fest, such as Ghost Mice, Defiance Ohio, One Reason, Saw Wheel, imadethismistake, and more. It is a predominantly punk rock festival, though there are also a good number of indie rock, country, and metal acts. The Fest first took place in 2002 and has since attracted a large number of punk bands throughout the years. The Fest 8 takes place Halloween weekend from October 30 to November 1, 2009. NEW WEBSITE DESIGNWe got fed up with the ugly look of the Anti-Creative website, so we've given it a new look. We're still fixing things up here and there, but it's not as bad as it used to be and we promise to continue to make it prettier.

Instead of buying one item at a time and paying for each item individually, we now have a shopping cart system setup so you can buy multiple things and complete your order all at once.

But in order to catch up with ever-increasing postage rates, ever increasing rates from our credit card processor, and ever increasing cost to simply produce records, all orders (online AND postal) now get charged $1.50 for the first item ordered, 50ยข for each additional item. For international rates, see the website. Previously online orders were subject to additional processing fees, but these have now been eliminated and you are only paying the shipping rates. Many apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
RIO de la MUERTEThe album is apparently done and in post-production, but I don't have any news besides that. It will probably be a while before it comes out, as it's been delayed numerous times now, and with Saw Wheel's album coming out soon Rio might have to go on the back burner. Sorry, I don't know why this long-awaited album hasn't seen the light of day yet.
