I thought you'd like Foxcatcher more than you did. I need to check out Whiplash, A Most Violent Year, and finish Inherent Vice. I am about halfway through. Amanda thought it was boring so I switched it to Selma.

NOFX, I'll love this band until the day I die.
Quote from: kw on January 17, 2015, 05:24:22 PMAre you talking ALL Propagandhi? They've had several different sounds since they formed. Do you hate it all?
propaghandi. i truly can't stand them.
Quote from: pronetoaccidents on December 29, 2014, 08:26:42 AMShe has 2 kids from a previous marriage; a boy and a girl ages 15 and 10 respectively. It's been a big transition during the past 5 months we've all been living together but it has been good. We don't plan on having any other children. I don't much want to pass on some of the genes I have and am pretty sure she's over the whole being pregnant and staying up all night with a baby thing. I'm cool with this and am going to try to be the best step dad I can be.
hearing this made my day. you're a great person and i'm sure your wife is a beautiful woman. remember she's not perfect, and neither are you but the idiosyncrasies that can lead to fight and annoyance wind up being the things you miss the most about that person when they are gone so stick through it. marriage won't be easy. I'm not married but I'm making a pretty well researched assumption that it has its up's and down's but as long as you found someone who loves you for who you are, the good the bad and the ugly, and same for them, then you two are doing you're part to saving the world. I gotta get a little hippie-ish but love is life and the only way we can survive as a race. congrats on your beautiful journey onward. Are you guys planning on having children?
Quote from: AaronTheCabe on December 25, 2014, 05:05:34 PMIsn't a stag party just a batchelor party? Everytime I've heard the term stag party it was a party where strippers were involved.
WHOA! CONGRAT TO THE U TO THE LATIONS!
its never too late for an internet stag! (beg your pardon, my viewing of comedy television is 99% British tv so if you aren't famililar with stag party, the word party should clear that up)
Quote from: michaelcopeland on December 24, 2014, 02:44:20 PMI probably wouldn't have liked Green Day either if I was your age. It makes me feel really fucking old to realize that when I bought Dookie you were 1 or 2 and was listening to Nirvana before you were born. I've never felt more like an old man in my life.
I've never been a big bad religion fan. When I first got into punk I pretended to like them because I felt like I was supposed to. I didn't like Green Day either. Also I don't know how everyone on here feels about Tom Waits but I know hes definitely not for everyone (I love him)
Quote from: amanda on December 16, 2014, 07:07:02 PMAgreed. There are several movies with which I view negatively based on negative events I associate with them. They played Castaway like 3 times during the 5 days I spent in the hospital in 2002. I hated it when I saw it (I obviously was not feeling great at the time) and it just reminds me of those 5 days of hell when I see it on. Does anyone else hate movies due to associating them with bad life events?
