Really don't know what that means for whoever would buy it. $100,000 makes you the new owner though.

Who's in???

The show was awesome.

Whelmed from bloomington who had Ginger (good luck/one reason) on drums, opened and they were also fantastic.

I also realized I'm getting to old to stay out until 2 am at a show on a weeknight and then try to go to work at 7 the next day.

It's tonight, so I am not sure, but I totally understand you thinking it was last night since I posted this at 8 in the morning.

PS: yes keep listening to them, all the time if possible.

I could take or leave all grunge music. I don't hate it, but I have never once tried to seek it out.

Guilty pleasure time. I have been turning on the radio in my car searching for this song over the last week. Feel a little embarrassed by that fact, but clearly not enough to where I don't want to share it with the world.

Alright, ALOT has happened since I first posted this.

Instead of it being very vague and confusing. It is now very serious and sad.

They were one of my favorite bands at this time last week. Such a sad thing to have happen again and again, but especially this time with it being who I thought were a trans/queer empowerment band.

Kudos to the majority of people associated with the band (minus the main two members) for how they have handled it though.

but let's talk about the PWR BTTM news.

Like every other situation like this and for good reason, I'm having a hard time following exactly what is going on. I was planning on seeing them play next month and have been jamming their album non stop these last couple weeks, but now I don't know what to do.

I don't think this is a new phenomenon.

I agree though, every time I see a band I saw play for 10 peoples sell out a venue of 2,000. It feels a little weird, but it really just confirms we have good taste and are the realist hipsters of them all.

Who was it that was obsessed with sorority noise??

The new track is so good. I was starting to worry after not liking their last album.

Binged watched the first season of this over the weekend. I thought it was absolutely fantastic.

Every year I think about going to riot fest, but it never happens.

I don't see an end to this pattern.

I would like to add Death at a Funeral. The original, not the US remake, obviously.

Can't think of a band on tiny engines I dislike.

Just stumbled onto this today. Got me dancing at my desk one second and crying the next. Fuck.

Hot Rod
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Dale and Tucker vs Evil
The Producers (Original)
Hot Fuzz

This list was super spur of the moment and took me 30 seconds to make. You give me a day to think it over I may come up with 5 entirely different movies.

Since I am not part of the LGBTQ community and further more since I am a whit male, in general my opinion comes from a level of privilege, but some of the best comedy, to me at least pushes the envelope of being offensive in nature. Like my previous statement implies, this may be because little if anything actually offends me. With that being said, I try to look for the intent behind the words. I could write more, but I feel like I may put my foot in my mouth if I do.

He has two more specials coming down the line I think? Will be interesting to see if anything changes or how those go, when they come out.

New Days N Days for those of you still listening to the Folk Punk in 2017.

Saw Why? Last night and while their new album is getting mixed reviews I've been pretty obsessed with it

Also RVIVR has some new stuff and our coming to my town next month.

cash me ousside how bout dat

For a second there I thought you were going to say can we all agree the mighty boosh is terrible. I was about to blow up my computer in protest.

Which was some of the best politically charged emo/screamo of my high school years.

I hope it's hours of screamo telling me why taxes are literally slavery or whatever other stupid thing Frank Tuner, a grown man, believes.

I sleep okay at night defending Frank Turner, unlike some people in this thread backing up GG Allin every time someone mentions his name in vain.

Dang this place has been half way active over the last week. Good thing I am here to ruin this thread too by proclaiming my love for Frank Turner.

Not only do I think he is better than Billy Bragg (who I also like), but I think he is one of the better singer song writers of the last 10 years and 15 years ago before he was a singer song writer, he was killing it with his band Million Dead. Which was some of the best politically charged emo/screamo of my high school years.

PS: I do hate pearl jam.

Guess who is back to ruin this thread for everyone.

I still like Pauls music. No one ever told me what he did that was so wrong as a person. Although he was shit talked about for so long here you'd of thought someone would have spilled the beans. So while I am cautious about his character, I don't really have anything to go off of to hate him yet. I'm sure once I find out, if I find out, it may affect me liking his music, but until then I guess I'll just go by the old ignorance is bliss scenario and still enjoy it.

PS: I went 5 days without checking this page, that's a good start right? I'll be back in 6 days to see what's happening.
